YOUR PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Please refer to the table below (scroll down) for your exact performance and arrival times. All students must arrive at least ONE HOUR prior to their scheduled show time. Please plan accordingly—parking and walking to the venue may take longer than expected.
ADMISSION & GUESTS
This is a free, public event, and we’d love for you to invite your friends and family to come celebrate with us! Please note that the school will be closed on both show days, as all lessons and rehearsals are paused for the weekend’s events. While most students will perform on one day, we strongly encourage all students and families to attend both days to support one another. Our shows thrive on community spirit—please stay before and after your own performance to cheer on your fellow musicians and help create a vibrant, supportive audience.
PARKING & ARRIVAL LOGISTICS
There is no designated parking for this event. Multiple public lots are available in the surrounding area, but the Shipyards will be extremely busy, so allow plenty of time to find parking and walk to the stage.
STUDENTS MUST STAY WITH PARENTS / GUARDIANS
This show is a little bit different since we’re in a large and exciting open space with the general public. Students must remain with their parents / guardians at all times before and after their performance. School of Rock staff will direct you where to stand and wait for your turn to perform and where parents should watch the performance. Sorry, no parents or guests will be permitted backstage with the exception of Little Wing and Rookies parents who are required to have ONE parent with their child backstage and help them on-stage if needed. After performing, students will leave the stage, gather their belongings, and then must be picked up at the designated pick up point by a parent or guardian. After your show, you are free to enjoy the rest of the Shipyards and watch other performances!
WHAT TO BRING & WEAR
- School of Rock Vancouver Badge (required for backstage access)
- Rock performance attire! This is your time to shine—dress like you’re ready for a professional stage. No sweatpants, please. If you’re unsure what to wear, please ask your group instructor for guidance.
- Weather-appropriate clothing – shows will go on rain or shine. So watch the weather, and bring umbrellas, and dress in layers if needed!
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water Note: only water is permitted on stage—no food or other beverages allowed backstage or during performances.
We can’t wait to see everyone rock the stage and finish the season strong! Thank you in advance for your support, energy, and attention to these details.
